Ethnicity nationality or socio-economic Chinese nationality
Chinese nationality may refer to the nationality and/or the right to carry a passport of a number of areas:
- Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China, the law which defines who is or may become a PRC national
- HKSAR passport, issued to PRC nationals with permanent residence in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
- Republic of China passport, issued to ROC nationals
Chinese nationality, more commonly in the plural form Chinese nationalities, may also be a term of reference to the various ethnic groups in China, individually or collectively (see Nation):
